Vehicle/driver communication

If you would like to be connected on-line to a vehicle and to a driver, choose the GT2 terminal communication device. The terminal records an electronic activity log and job orders. The dispatcher and the driver communicate via short text messages. The driver can enter individual GT2 functions by herself/himself or follows dispatcher’s setting on the display.

Electronic activity log

Electronic activity log is used to follow a driver’s activity. The driver’s activity record consists of different types of driving cycles such as loading, unloading etc. Each cycle could be linked together into the job orders. The driver in a vehicle chooses from a defined list, a job order and a drive cycle. Time and the place of activity are automatically completed by GT2 terminal.

SMS communication

The GT2 terminal enables receiving and sending standard text messages. There are two phonebooks available; a service phonebook and a personal one. The capacity of each phonebook is 20 telephone numbers. The service numbers can be set by the help of data transfer. The personal numbers can only be set within the terminal. Another function allows text messages to be sent only to the numbers saved in the phonebooks. All received and sent text messages are stored within the internal terminal memory. The memory capacity is 20 text messages.

Job orders

„Job order menu“ serves for browsing job orders list and additional information for particular job orders. If a dispatcher allows to enter new job orders, it is then possible to enter a new job order including its name and a short description.

Phonebooks

Service numbers
- „Service number menu“ behaves like a phonebook with the ability to pre-set phone numbers by a dispatcher via data connection. It’s possible to block or limit any editing of the phone book by configuring certain parameters.
Personal numbers
- „Personal number menu“ works like a subsidiary phonebook used by a driver. It can be set to either a fully denied mode or a limitted editing funtion.
